Glad that worked for you. I just finished my final clean install after the GWX upgrade with the Windows 10 USB/ISO tool. Seems like the upgrade method still had the Realtek sound issues, ISO/USB clean install fixed that.

    Hi,

Does this (forced process) mess up the upgrade in any way? Downloading the upgrade now but worry if it corrupts/not installs properly?

And for people getting the WU errors on resuming, follow these steps:

    1. Click "Check for updates"

    2. Type "wuauclt.exe /updatenow" in admin cmd prompt.

It will resume download from where it left off.

it has finished downloading all files. but fails with installtion. is there anything that can be done to bypass blocking?

The error is : "FailureContent InstallInstallation Failure: Windows failed to install the following update with error 0x80240020: Upgrade to Windows 10 Pro"

OK, I'm getting a bit tired but I figured out what is going on here (at least for me)

    1) Used command prompt wuauclt.exe /updatenow
    Download then nothing
    2) Deleted C:\Windows\SoftwareDistribution\Download folder
    3) tried again wuauclt.exe /updatenow. Nothing

    This is the winner!!
    4) Deleted C:\Windows\SoftwareDistribution\Download folder
    5) CHANGED DATE TO AUGUST 1 2015
    6) Used command prompt wuauclt.exe /updatenow
    7) Ran update. It started loading
    8) Used command prompt wuauclt.exe /updatenow while update started
    9) SUCCES!! Rog G46 has windows 10

    I have a problem, in my C: disk has 2 folders : Windows.~BT and $Windows.~WS

    $Windows.~BT has nothing but $Windows.~WS has 4.47 GB. $Windows.~WS has Sources with Setup.exe. Why not $Windows.~BT ?
Who can explain me why? Plz.

Did you already do the update? That is what appears after finishing the update. Files moved or copied to the WS folder

Yes, or you can keep this file: Install.esd (located at C:\ $WINDOWS.~BT\sources) to repair Windows.
