Hm is there a way to extract LP from existing ISO ? i have slovenian iso and i would want to extact LP for standalone instalation.
Not easy. The LP files are integrated in the "sources\install.wim" file of the Win 7 iso. You could try to follow my tutorial to mount the "install.wim", and then gather or files and directories specific to your LP, then inject them in a fresh 7100 installation, then play with Regedit... Prepare yourself for some hours of work !! ++
first of all i have some Problems to mount i took the option 5 because this is the Ultimate Option (but even if i take 4 -same s**t) in the gimagex.chm there is the info that if i want to mount first of all i have to but this is a missing file in the zip allthough in the helpfile it is listed as present Can someone help me - or have I to download WAIK for that little piece

I see on your screenshot that you set "Image" value to 5. Set it to 4, it should be ok ;-) Value 4 = Windows 7 Ultimate, value 5 doesn't exists ;-) ++ Edit : oooops, didn't read your post entirely... I had this same problem some time, GImageX refused to mount the image... I think it's because an earlier try didn't cleared the unmount correctly. The thing is when you mount a Wim image file, you can reboot your computer as many times you want, the image remains mounted... I've read on some websites that installing the complete WAIK solves the problem. Please give it a try and report ;-) ++
a ye i know thing is, was kinda hopeing there is whole .cab somewhere inside install.wim file. Because even if i would manage to extract all files you cant do proper "cab" since it needs to be signed and all afaik.
I'm on a RC x64 and i'm trying to integrate French patch on 7127 Pre-Rtm but i got an error "the specified package is not applicable to this image". I'm trying to replace "/image:whatever" to just "/online". I'll tell you if it works. Edit : not working Maybe i got to install 7127 and then language pack. But i got a problem. I want to update and i can't because 1st install is in french.

You should make an .Bat file for second tutorial =D EDIT: Everthing worked, but the instalation wasnt in PT-BR and the instalation failed on the second time of the inst (after pc restarts once) What should i do? PS: Shouldnt the folder sources/en-us has the name pt-br(in my case)? Is this alright??
Hi, Are you sure you're trying with the 7127 language pack ?? I've just done it right now, on my 7100 x64 installation, and no problem for me, integration of the LP executed perfectly ;-) Don't know ? Your lang.ini file is OK. Did you burned the ISO or did you install from another partition/USB drive ? Making a .bat file... Yep but I'm too lazy for it loll, and I like when people can understand the execution of the different steps ;-) ++
Well... I was using from the HD, hehe. So now i burned an CD from the ISO (wich one that i changed only lang.ini, boot.wim and intall.wim mounted by gimagex) The installation was in portuguese now, but i got the same error on the end. Something like "Windows could not set the offline locale information. Error Code: 0x80000001" Maybee this doesnt work with 7127 and pt-br? PS: I used 7127 windows to make the process.
With Build 7077 I've run this code and t works: With x64 the numbers of the Editions are 1 - HOMEBASIC 2 - HOMEPREMIUM 3 - Professional 4 - Ultimate because there is no x64 Starter Edition. Hope this helps
But can you Install Windows 7 using an language pack for install? I could install just using English version.
Examining the batch files ( appear to be working too on 7127 with WAIK ) it seems to be something missing in the tutorial ... you must also copy lang files from sources and setup dir of expanded LP to sources dir on the dvd ... a folder by exemple "fr-FR" must be added in the source dir of the dvd in the second part for the boot.wim see the 2 red lines in the batch here i don't know but can that may be the cause of the install is not full french or other language ?
