Hi JRandomHacker I have an M3800, the one with 4702HQ processor, 3200 x 1800 touchscreen display. My bios is A09. But my IFR.txt does not have this, the one below. Code: Main 01 Advanced 01 Intel 00 Security 01 Boot 01 Exit 01 Main 00 Advanced 00 Chipset 00 Boot 00 Security 00 Save&Exit 00 is that normal? but when i load my setup.bin in hexedit, i can find 01 01 00 01 01 01 00 00 00 00. should i just change it? even if i dont see the one above on my IFR.txt? thanks
I have the same problem as above. My file looks roughly ike this ; Offset: Title: -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Main Advanced Chipset Security Boot Exit So it doesn't appear there are extra menus to unlock. However in Amibcp 4.5 I can see all the extra menus. Now when I change the same string of bytes nothing unlocks for me. Also when in Amibcp, if I change settings from default to 'user' , again the menu will not appear. This is for a sager np8170 (or clevo p170hm). Have the same issue with the np8150 / p150hm. Would be good to know if there is a furber trick or something to check.
Hello! there is a laptop Dell Inspiron M5110. The chipset in it AMD A70M supports SATA3, but this mode is locked in the BIOS. Who can help with the unlock? installed BIOS version A03 please help activate the SATA 6Gb / s interface maybe there is a modified BIOS for this laptop model. please help dear friends !!
Wow, that's a lot for a layman to understand, can anyone help me? Well, I've finished reading my bios. I don't have a Dell, though. I have a Medion device.
