    Yes I changed the source path to the extracted iso destination. Testing on a spare laptop.I'll try again later after restoring a disk image

    Are you sure there is no GUI tool to install Office 2016?.....:beee:

    Mini tutorial

    1- Uncompress the office ISO to "Office_2016PP" inside you will find the "setup.exe", "autorun.inf" and the "office" folder


    2- Download and unzip the file, inside you will find 3 elements: a "files" folder, "O16Setup.exe" and a "Readme"


    3- Move the 3 elements to the "Office_2016PP" folder


    4- Inside the "Office_2016PP" move the folder "office" inside the "files" folder (just do that) and then run "O16Setup.exe"


    5- Done



    Works like a charm i could install Word Excel and PPoint with no problem and without coding XML or anything

    Integrate office 2016 updates?

    Code:
    <Updates Enabled="TRUE" UpdatePath="\\Server\Share\Office\" />
    If there are update files in UpdatePath, It seems to be integrated during installation.

    Yes but office will now also search for new updates in that location instead of Microsoft's servers. This is only required if you want to test each update in your company to make sure it doesn't break anything, then you put the updates on your own server so office will only install the ones you verified.

    So now you need to find a way to make your install looking online for updates again.

    Brilliant. Installs what apps you want. Converted to Volume with 'O2016RTool', then used 'KMS_VL_ALL' to activate

    Having trouble with "Add SourcePath" section.
    I would like to add a specific directory with MSO setup files, something like:

    - mso16setup <== this is the directory with Office 2016 original setup files
    --- setup.exe
    --- office
    - setup.exe <== this setup come from MSO deployment tool
    - configuration.xml

    Now I tried the following:
    Add SourcePath="mso16setup"

    But it doesn't work. Is it possible to add a directory without specify the whole directory name like: c:\user\xxx\desktop\office.....

    Waiting for VL. I mean the dark gray theme in Word is nice, but that was the only difference I noticed from 2013...

    Yes! It works!!!!!
    Thank you a lot!!! The program is now downloading again the files but it doesnt matter. I will put it into the iso next time and that's all
