OpenGL is rip, say hello to Vulkan. It already works yet better in some cases as OpenGL which had requires years to really stabilize them (for Linux) because it starts with the drivers. What MS did was not the best decision but overall I respect it because it's better then nothing and the classical shell is dead. I not say everyone will hype this now but it's a little process we see, MS starts listening to people. If I had this said 15 years ago someone had called already 911. We are far away from 'perfection' but it's a process and we all need to learn, feedback is necessary.
