    Wrong again.
This is NOT an issue of image failed to verify.
This is an issue of WHY the UEFI Boot option doesnt appear, while Boot Mode: UEFI and SecureBoot enabled.

ps. Bluetooth also gives weird issues. It first identify the erccson and then it cant connect to them.
Iam goin to buy a usb cable for Sony Ericcsonn K750i <=> Lenovo NOW just to prove YOU wrong.

disable secure boot and see if the UEFI option pops up. otherwise just return it to where you bought it to have it reinstalled with the Windows 8 license you paid for. Disabling secure boot won't disable the option to install Windows 8 in UEFI. If you only have the option to enable/disable secure boot, then it's a custom locked bios/uefi. Like I said, nothing more anyone can do to help you here. More if the OEM uses some custom made bios that prevent people to install another OS on the laptop.

In Legacy Mode i was allowed to Boot and Install Win8.

Leave the Boot Mode: UEFI intact && disable UEFI's SecureBoot featue? Is that what you ask of me?
Why you think disabling SecureBoot will help present the missing option?

ps: I must take the bloody snapshots....i bought the cable. Rebooting and <F2> and <F12> to take snapshots.

Jesus, where did the 6 more pages sprung from

I'll ignore the latter part the same way you missed my whole 'I'll never go to Greece again' statement(being stuck for 36 hours when due to various strikes in the middle of summer does that for you,I guess) - I said that a plain Win 8 MSDN install image worked wonderfully for the aforementioned aspire without BIOS upgrades or the need for any external SATA drivers,so the whole thread as I said was irrelevant. As for legacy hardware in general, I'm yet to experience any issues migrating a machine from Vista/7 to 8 and I've gone back as far as the NX-bit requirement has left me. In fact, the only time I've seen similar 'issues' was when the disk structure got shafted after I finished using the machine as a Hackintosh.

I hope you are actually trying to install x64 Windows

Start the EFI Shell from your UEFI and launch the bootx64.efi inside efi/boot/

yes, just got along with his delusion and don't tell him the pictures he posted are those of a white chair on which he wrote some random junk to make it look like the config screen of a bios... :stretcher:

Of course since by reading them i came to the conclusion that this was in fact an Win8 UEFI Boot.

It's described by me in capital letters more because of a suprise.......that this time a Greek MSDN version gave me an UEFI Boot which vymrdal's MSDN version formatted and copied also properly(by Win8's embedded prosedures) didn't.
This "magic" bust be explained for the sake of sanity.

Also, it would be nice to know how selecting a usb boot from a boot selection gave out an UEFI Boot.
Weren't you the one telling me several postss ago that i should have seen 2 usb options one for uefi and one for legacy?

Well if you can call junk my asylum memorial photos with other folks......

    a) Shenj told you that hitting Shif+F10 to bring up a a cmd with DiskPart has almost the same functionality that DiskParts's GUI within Win8 Setup. Yet you insist in "your way" of portioning and unnecessary too.

    b) If withing the Setup GUI i create less than 900GB space for my junk then the unallocated space will be left "after" the partition which i created and not before, thus leaving space for uefi kind of partitions after my junk partition.
Would that boot properly? Dont partions have to have some order layout

    c) If withing the Setup GUI i create less than 900GB space for my junk, then what space will there be for uefi partitioning? (i think uefi setup need to create 4 partitions like "ems" e.t.c)

I feel like the situation calls for TSIPOURO (much more alchohol based) and from TYRNAVOS (the greatest produced one) too, to help retain our sanity or what's left of it :)

Wine and OUZO won't help much.
