I finally got the built in keyboard to work just had to manually update windows 7 to recognize it. Now I am trying to figure out how to install my graphics drivers from both intel and nvidia then get my wireless network going. this Laptop was designed specifically to only work for windows 10 but there should be a way to modify the drivers to be compatible with windows 7.

Hello. I am experiencing this same issue and am struggling with it. Installing this special driver did not succeed. I'm fixing to give up and just use a Virtual Machine, but I would still like to figure out how to make this work because "Windows XI" is so bad that it nearly made me cry. At least "Windows X" still feels like a Windows machine...
Hi, I have purchased a new laptop HP Pavilion 15, and I want to install Windows 7 on this laptop, but I have problem, yes, i have installed UefiSeven, but... compared to my previous laptop, on this laptop UefiSeven have success unlocking and locking memory at C0000, but despite that, it still freezes at Starting Windows (This is maybe the Chkdsk screen, but it is not displayed) UPD: I just realized that my laptop supports CSM, so, I can now install Windows 7 on it
I used this method about a year or so ago and everything went fine. But now after performing all the steps, when the system tries to boot windows for the first time I get a 'windows boot manager screen' displaying: File: \EFI\Microsoft\Boot\BCD Status: 0xc0000034 Info: the windows boot configuration data file is missing required information Any ideas on what is going wrong / how to fix it?
I have encountered the same problem; gets stuck at the windows logo, and gets stuck booting safe mode. I am on an 11600k, z590 Mobo, and a GTX 690. I am also on a NVMe drive. I tried using Simplx to convert the windows 7 boot.wim to 10. It installed on the NVMe, but when it came time to reload after the initial install it would get stuck on the windows logo again. Did anyone figure out this problem??
