Integrate7 splits install.wim file to multiple install.swm files, if the former exceeds 4 GB. So FAT32 formatted USB sticks works. UefiSeven is just legacy VGA BIOS emulator. It is not needed if you have legacy VGA driver removed and integrated vendor specific GPU driver instead. And Win8/Win10 installers contain UEFI/GOP generic video drivers, so they don't need legacy VGA emulators nor vendor specific GPU drivers at all.
Has anyone other than @svet6ma tried this method? I bet no one! It does NOT work. Giving errors during completion. And yes, we tried with different ISOs.
Multi-boot USB burner such as Ventoy, YUMI, Easy2Boot, WinSetupFromUSB seems no way to work around with uefiserven. Alternatively use another working system or PE deploy the OS into your HDD
I have an Asrock Z77 Extreme4 from 2012 which has UEFI with a CSM. Can I just install Win7 with the CSM enabled on a GPT disk, install iGPU and dGPU drivers normally and then disable the CSM and enable secure boot?
All, The instructions in post #1 are clear and I was about to follow them when I noticed that success was had with a Kaby Lake processor. My new Latitude 5430 comes equpiied with a 12th Gen Intel i7-1265 vPro which is an Alder Lake processor. Will the programme work with an Alder Lake processor do you think? I cannot find out if my 5430 is class 3 or not. Anyone succeed with an Alder Lake processor?
Just a little resume of my progress in a laptop. Working ONLY with this config: - Uefi7 Patched (If you update to 2023 Windows Accumulative Update, you will need to repatch) - CSM Enable - VGA and VGASave disable (=0) But the mayor issue now are the drivers: Intel Apollo Lake HD Graphics 500 only has drivers for Windows 10 x64. Many downloads for the same result Forced Windows 10 driver with .inf edit. Sucess install but black screen after a clean boot. After connecting through RDP in device manager I can see: the driver reported problems Working Wifi, BT, USB 3.0 XHCI, keyboard. But No chipset driver No ACPI, No Touchpad
highly doubtful that win7 can be used on 12th gen intel & newer systems need something older, maybe like 10th gen intel (comet lake) to have a chance of running win7 any laptop/desktop pc from 10th gen intel onward (made from late 2019, early 2020 & newer) usually have "class 3/class 3+" uefi
Agree, 10th gen intel CPU is latest I head of could run Windows 7. Beyond 10th gen, never heard. Win 7 is too old to them/newest CPU.
Let's say I want install w.7 on vhdx file Use current bcd to run w.10 from SSD And w.7 from vhdx What is my option to do it .. My latest try .. fail ... Select w.7 .. clean screen .. reboot
Vbox is different then actual hardware. I've never gotton past either the frozen logo or acpi error on class 3 systems
