I tried on my xps M1330,
the certificat installed good,
the key installed too ok but i got no SLP 2.1 into the bios so it seems it cannot activate.
crap. need new bios from dell.

 

BTW did anyone do it with a medion-branded computer?

I think I've got SLIC 2.0 it says length 374... Or can I just use any other OEM certificate? like Hp or dell?

Hi, guys!

Did someone get Windows 7 activated using the OEM SLP key with Acer SLIC 2.1 + Acer Vista cert?
Is the Acer Vista cert actually matching the Acer 2.1 SLIC?

 

This OEM SLP key doesnt work on ultimate E

 

I have a ASUS P6T Deluxe Version 1 MB, with modded bios, that includes the HPQOEM 2.1 SLIC table, and this has activated with the OEM key, and the HP certificate floating around, without any problem.

For now, it would seem that the Bios checking by MS is a little slack!

Where can we get the cert file? That has not been posted anywhere with links including the main article and in this thread.

Im looking for a
Asus cert (My PC has a Asus motherboard)
Dell cert (My laptop is a Dell)
master cert (This one works on all of them so...)

Im looking for the first 2 because it makes the PC look more legit.

As far as I'm aware, Vista certs work.

read back and you can see people are using their vista certs with this slp key.
Bios must be slic 2.1 though

i have HP dv6985..The bios has a SLIC entry as checked by Everest(without any mod)...I used the slic certificate and slp key method before for Vista ultimate..

my problem is that those commands installed HP.xrm-ms cert and the key mentioned here successfully...but still windows is not activated...it shows 27 days to activate...
Its shows Product ID as 00426-OEM-8992662-00497

does anybody know a solution to this...how do i know my bios has slic 2.0 or slic 2.1 ??

you know your bios is 2.0, otherwise win7 would have been activated

 

so anybody know how to get slic 2.1 into bios?...i have phoenix bios version F.58..
also i have a custom built desktop with intel mobo...is it possible to mod it to include slic 2.1?

 

I have just loaded the DELL slic on to a Asus p4p800 motherboard using Bios v1019. Cert and serial worked OK on Win7 32bit.

 

any one used this key with a dell slic 2.1 on WZT iso of 7600 x64 i cant seem to get it to work.

 

doesn't work for me.
Just flashed a modded bios on my P5KPL-VM Asus bios,

loaded old HP cert, and tried to add the key.

even after reboot, its not activated, 23 days left to activate
