    I just tried to activate via Activation and Upgrade in control panel it just says
    "The upgrade key you entered is for an edition of windows and does not work with upgrade"

    @Atlas what do you mean by "enter your cert"

    Hey guys, did anybody activate a Windows 7 E version? I got a little bit excited and got the E version a few days ago, and now I'm wondering whether I should re download another version?

    finally i restored my bios now im gonna insert 2.1 via dos not winflash

    Not sure since the E version uses a different key ;o

    So i went back and installed the nromal versions some days ago when i saw that it wouldn't be a good idea to keep it if i wanted to activate it early on :)

    newbie (help)

    i m new hr

    i hav win7RTM installled in my pc but i dont hav branded pc

    so how can i activate my WIN7 ??? :confused:

    PC Specs:
    2GB ram Kingston
    2.5 GHZ E5200 dualcore intel processor
    ASUS (INTEL) P5KPL-VM motherboard
    320GB HDD (seagate-maxtor)
    1gb GT8500 Nvidia PCI-Express 3d card

    any1 help!!! :confused:

    Works like a charm, Win7 OEM Activated using Slic 2.1 and HP cert.(old)
