Unable to configure windows 7 pc's over wifi

    i am unable to connect my two pcs over wifi for documents sharing


    both pcs run windows 7 ultimate

    dlink link 2640 t wifi router is connecting both pcs via wifi with fixed ip address

    when i create home group in one pc its not visible over other pc

    while when i view complete map of networking i can see both pcs

    can some one explain whats wrong

    Yeah, so much for Homegroups. After a couple of hours I gave up and networked them the old way like in XP (Never used Vista except for a day).
