I have my TV Connected via HDMI. Usually what I do is just drag MPC-HC to the 2nd screen (TV) and then maximize it so my wife can watch a movie while I am working on my computer. Now when I try dragging any window to the right edge of the screen, I can see the edge of the Windows being dragged into the TV screen but when I leave it or try to drag it more, the Window just resizes into a square on my main monitor and it stays there and won't go to the TV screen. The only way for now is to duplicate the displays but I want the Extend These Displays option to work right. Any tips please?
This is a fresh installation of both Windows 10 Pro and the latest nVIDIA Drivers 355.98 so I don't think reinstalling the drivers would change anything.
What I do notice is that on the 2nd screen (the TV) the taskbar does appear with my taskbar icons. But in the normal cases like in Windows 7, that second screen would be completely blank it will only show my wallpaper until I drag a window into it.
WOW! That fixed the issue right away!! upon installing it, it told me that multi monitor taskbar is enabled, do you want to disable it now? so I chose yes and now I was able to move the windows to the 2nd screen whereas previously it was locked! Thank you so much for this suggestion. I'll purchase a multi home license
Shouldn't have to, I use 3 x 1080p LCDs with a GTX980 and the same 355.98 drivers and all works fine without any 3rd party
