I'm not sure this belongs here, I only want to change the bios to the correct model of MB. I received my MB back from ASUS repair with the wrong bios. My MB is a M2A-VM HDMI, the bios version it came back from repair with is M2A-VM. Very little difference between the two, but the M2A-VM HDMI has additonal hardware that is not configured by the M2A-VM bios. When I try to flash with the correct bios I get a message saying that the file I am using to flash does not match the image on the ROM. Is there a flash tool that I can use to override this and flash the bios with the correct model? I don't want to have to send it back into ASUS and hope they get it right.

    Download AWDFLASH.EXE from Asus website.
Make a bootable disk. Put both awdflash.exe and xxx.bin files on it.
    Boot with bootable disk
Flash with this command: awdflash xxx.bin /qi

    Note:try at your own risk.
