Unable to uninstall Security Essentials

    hey guys i installed Microsoft Security Essentials but now i am not able to uninstall it......i am running windows 7 x64 nd whenever i try to uninstall it it pops out an error "0x8007064c".I recently had a system crash as i replaced the shell32.dll but after system recovery all my installed programs refuses to get uninstalled....someone plzz help me out............:confused:

    Try reinstalling over the program and then try uninstalling again.

    Maybe try running "sfc /scannow" at an elevated command prompt...

    If you dont know how to obtain an elevated command prompt, click the Start button, then in the "Search/Run" bar, type "cmd". When "cmd.exe" appears above as a result, right click on it and select "Run as administrator". Once the black console window opens, type the above command and it [Enter]...let it run. It should check and repair your system files if they are corrupt.
