Josh, when I clicked "clean" button, I got this message "All Downloading Windows Updates will be cancelled! Continue?", what does it mean? I checked, there were no running windows updates! Thank you for the new application
In fact, I see nothing wrong in the name of this application, lol I do not know if that sounds bad in you, I don't mind with the problem.
It is wonderful to see how everyone is different and I like your translation although if you need help send me text file and I'll translate for you Also I never turn off my comp can you make the scheduler do it daily or do interface to set that custom? Thanks JC
In this case, the application works only every boot, you need clean manually in the time when you want ... For the boot optimization, is needed of windows store the temp data until it is restarted, for pre-load in the boot and logon, with cached temp files ... After the logon, the application will silent clean the files, and the OS will generate others for the next boot, is an case of Prefetch data, every boot .
If you want, can add an scheduled task with this parameters: Code: UnCleaner.exe /jcautoclean Will make a full clean .
Finished, really faster here, less than 5 seconds to analyze 20k of unnecessary files Latest tests for release, analysing now ...
Here is a suggestion, I think adding a icon in the notification bar and have it minimize to the bar as well. A template you can use that wrks really well is "WPF Notification Area Application". You can download it from the C# online templates section within the visual studio program.
Josh Cell, I think this is a horrible idea. no need to clutter the notification area any more than it usually is, and I personally and I'm sure many others do as well very much hate when a program minimizes to the bar instead of just closing. there's never a need for anything in the notification area, especially with this program...
That's true but you could also make the icon optional. I don't really have a problem with clutter because i just hide the icons on the bar i don't want to see in Windows 7 & 8 but i see how in XP that could be an issue.
even in 7, hiding them still puts an icon there that when clicked shows all the hidden icons, which is still clutter, annoying, and useless... icons in the notification area are so disgusting to me...
I can make this for a Custom Scheduled Task in other versions ... It removes the focus of the program, the boot not has been Speed-UP'd with multi cleans in the same boot ...
Wrong ccleaner can be dangerous in the wrong hands people can delete certain things without actually going in and checking settings, whereas uncleaner deletes only totally unneeded files
