I'm a Hardware Technical also, on all machines when I've installed the OS, I use this application in the scheduled mode (+50 machines estimated), 0 problems, and 100% trusted, no bricks, and no problems
This is the best utility I have come across in ages. Cleaned 8gb off my SSD. Great work I am a curious person & would love to see the file report to show the file size of each file, and have the option to sort by size/file-folder name
I've uploaded an updated EXE version of UnCleaner v1.3; Now the installer is normally creating the icons in the desktop and common groups.
Hello Josh, I use also CCleaner for many years & the extensions . But in your opinion, what is the difference with CCleaner + CCEnhancer ? Thank you for your answers. WIKIMACK
UnCleaner is an File Cleaner specialist on Windows CCleaner not have the range of UnCleaner; UnCleaner will clean only the Windows, with an large specific range: 1 - CCleaner not clean the temp files for all users 2 - CCleaner is slow in some cases 3 - CCleaner not have an scheduled clean every boot without crash the system 4 - CCleaner not clean totally the Prefeth data
@Josh could you add option to select which location/folder that we want to clean so we can just disable any location/folder that we don't want to clean example disable clean for prefetch folder
Hello josh Why do you always delete "Windows Prefetch cached data"? I propose to remove it only if the system disk is a SSD. The impact of software on Readyboost for HDD?
Great job Josh thanks for this tool it works great on Windows 7 ultimate x64. Code: Hello josh Why do you always delete "Windows Prefetch cached data"? I propose to remove it only if the system disk is an SSD. The impact of software on Readyboost for HDD? How do you defrag prefetch on a x64 windows OS?
Well, this is an Windows Cleaner, will works on all windows without the user customize... It worked with an "simply" use, I'll analyse the cases for an next release...
Josh maybe you misunderstood my point. I know of no way currently to defrag prefetch on x64 windows OS so the next best thing is your tool. Besides how often do people reboot?
Well, on the next reboot is generated new prefeth files, increasing the speed on the boot and on the shutdown / restart, The tool will remove catched prefeth files....
hi josh a little question, every reboot with schedule, it works completely in background? Because i dont see any screen or window to boot about uncleaner so i want be sure that it works completely in background buddy.. thanks i love your software..
