Thank you. I look forward to playing with this. I have trouble upgrading older servers like 2012r2 and keeping settings and apps. Came up with my own methodology to get around the limits of upgrading OS's. Its not always consistent, that is, version 1607 of server is the hard one. SKU's, target version (reg tricks), s1ave77's old JATD (just another tool), and, or if it allows upgrading to datacenter, then rolling back to standard. Some of these old servers have services that manage older devices that are almost impossible to get working on fresh installs. Found if I work with macrium images to convert mbr drives to uefi gpt disks, and use images as failsafe points, eventually I find a path to get to server 2022. Then the many tools and methods of cleaning and verifying system files for the final image to the new server. Now its the new security in the uefi secure boot firmware locking/hiding drives, but that's another another post.
