hello, I have downloaded the package 3 posts above, but don't know what to do with the files. They aren't typical setup files. Would someone be so kind to briefly explain how do I install those drivers on Win7? Thank you
thank you, your help is greatly appreciated. I am looking to install the wireless internet connection first. When I follow those instructions, I go to "Network Adapters" in the Device Manager. In there, it says "Broadcom 570x Gigabit Integrated Controller". When I right-click and select "Update Driver Software", I then have it "Browse My Computer" so I can point it to a particular folder (which is contained in the package about 5 posts up). That folder is "Intel(R) PRO Wireless 2200BG Network Connection". After this, it tells me that "Windows has determined the driver software for your device is up to date", and I cannot proceed any further. Next, I tried uninstalling the existing driver ("Broadcom 570x Gigabit Integrated Controller"), and then re=scanned for hardware changes. It just comes back again. So I can't figure out how to get that particular driver installed. Would you be able to provide a hint or two?
That isn't your wireless adapter you are trying to install the drivers to. That is a wired adapter. Look deeper into your device manager and find your WiFi adapter.
"Network Adapters" is the only category I can find anything to do with connecting to the internet. Unfortunately there isn't any other category which shows anything to do with wifi. The thing is, it was working fine with XP just a day or two ago. Is there anything else I can do or might it not be possible? By the way, I'm running Win7 Ultimate.
working! For my Dell Latitude D600, 1.6ghz 1gb ram, 32mb ATI 9000. i uploaded a temporary - 30 day file for anyone who is desperate. i got this from a site i will link below, but this is the main installer for the wifi that works for me. (3 double you's) filedropper DOT com/r143355 (3 double you's) dell DOT com/support/home/us/en/19/Products /?app=drivers i went there, typed in the service tag or express code or whatever found on the bottom of my D600 dell and it found all the drivers for it. the audio one i got somewhere else, but the first network wifi one (it'll say urgent) it worked for me, you can either go there do it yourself and download it there or use filedropper link above if it's not 31 days past this post. i tried countless files and none posted here worked for me. but this did!! after 2 days! i upgraded from XP to windows 7 and needed all new drivers because i bought the laptop for 15$. Hope this helps anyone in need!
Hi. From the detailed descriptions given it seems clear that these drivers are exactly what I need to unleash all features of Windows 7 Ultimate on my old Dell Latitude D600 laptop. So I was very disappointed to find that the links given no longer lead anywhere - "Can't find that page" etc. Is the any chance you could re-post them please? Many thanks from Brian H
Why not just go to Dell's support website and type in the service tag number, select vista os and run drivers in compatibility mode? or just use Driver Pack Solutions? all are free.
I think by the time i wanted these drivers rapidshare had already shut down, but if there is any one with these drivers for laptop d600 you can please share with me the link, other wise thanks for the effort because i see all the responses are positive
i just dled this (from a post in this thread)and it looks legit everthing appears to match what i found during my research https : // docs. google.com/ file/d/ 0B2sgtk57fvi5TWdKUGEzaEY5VmM /edit fyi like i said most stuff in this can be found researching for 15 minutes
Hello. I stumbled across this page and set up a MyDigitalLife account in order to take advantage of the driver set for the Dell D600 laptop using Windows 7. Unfortunately, because of the age of the original post (2011), the links to rapidshare.com no longer work, and instead, when I click on the download links (D600drvpk part 1 and D600drvpk part 2), I get redirected to a Black Friday download site, and other sites that appear to be very suspicious and want me to download other files, etc. I imagine that this driver pack is no longer available on Rapidshare, and that now, Rapidshare simply redirects users to the other sites in hopes of drumming up business. IS THERE ANY OTHER WAY TO GET MY HANDS ON THIS DRIVER PACK? Does it exist anywhere else on the internet? Very desperately trying to breathe new life into my old Dell D600 laptop. THANKS!!
