AV will always flag so make keygen (emulator) an exception in your AV, or whatever software you use

Actually the host in LocalHost cannot be flagged.

It is executed in RAM only (hence safe from file-scanners) and customized enough not to raise a false positive even if it is installed to disk.

@Ranger: You are talking to the wrong person.

The problem is not with LocalHost, its with the AVs heuristics, so they are the ones who have to fix their products.

The day they comprehend that an application isnt dangerous just because it is packed will be the day this sort of false positive disappears.

I have a couple of ideas, but i will have to try everything first to see which one works best.

Now that the holidays are over the only problem is, again, time...

8007000D Unbricker? What exactly does it do to fix 0x8007000D error?
I will test it on my Windows 7 Enterprise x64 machine.

Fix-Me Mode cannot avoid 8007000D's from happening, but it can quickly 'unbrick' products (Windows/Office) where the error has become persistent.

(Persistent meaning the error never goes away, no matter how many activation requests you initiate.)

Thats its function and thats what it does.

As for the app; you cannot currently run it on 64bit systems.

Thats why i just posted the 64bit interface test.

If you want to help then download the test app, check it out, and tell me if it works properly.

how it does it? (there is many things one could do to fix this error, I want to know what your program does and how, give some technical details about this option).

I am also curious. I know some KMS solutions rearm if error is experienced then try activation again but not sure Phazors "secret" :p

I have decided not to make the current method public. (See Alpha thread.)

I am working on another method though, which, if successful, i intend to share with interested devs...

    Edit:

@TS: There are situations where everything is so screwed up that a simple re-arm wont help anymore.

Fix-Me is able to fix even those situations. Thats what makes it special. :)

If you get that method working let me know.

@timesurfer EZ-Activator does rearm but most of the time when office is screwed it is screwed bad enough that rearm (and the reinstall licenses step after it but before repairing) never work. The only time I've seen rearm fix things is old versions of mini-kms.

    Yes, of course.

If this works then this will truly be the ultimate solution.

Is is special as it tackles the problem directly at the root.

Or more to the point; it simply operates around the cause as if it wouldnt even exist.

Technically this could be compared to entering a building through unprotected Door B because you know that Door A is guarded by the A-Team, Rambo and the Six Million Dollar Man and thus 100% impossible to get through.

This principle is what makes the solution so effective.

I know, this all sounds very secretive and mysterious, and normally i would love to tell you everything about it. As some of you know, so far i have shared everything here, since sharing knowledge and findings is what makes this forum what it is. But something in my mind keeps telling me that i should keep this particular thing to myself, at least for now. After all, if this becomes public knowledge, and the Windows guys develop a counter-measure, then the whole thing will be down the drain once and for all. And im sure nobody would want that to happen...

Same here, though I worry that MS could just reverse engineer it, though the fact they were dumb enough and lazy enough to allow Win7 KMS Keygen to work on Office 2010 and make no attempts to stop loaders I doubt it. It's just my paranoia as I was certain they'd rig OEM licensing in Win 7 to be different so loaders didn't work.

Okay, I just downloaded the 1.2 version and would like some running hints. For the record, this is on a x64 Server 2008 R2 install. How does this interact with the Office Toolkit application? Which options will I need to enable? Do I use the one step without port 1688 or with and what determines the reason to use either option? Are we using the same ZWT as before, prior to launching this new app?
