    No joy on an old Compaq laptop Evo N620c. It runs without error, but after the reboot W7 fails with "Your computer was unable to start" and then attempts to auto repair the startup... and that fails with "Startup Repair cannot repair this computer automatically"

    I used the HP Cert with the Acer Ult Key and Normal Loader mode.

    I had the same error with the loader by DAZ

    * Update *

    I used version DAZ Windows 7 Loader v1.5.4 and the older soft mod selection. It did activate, but then I could not find any working drivers for the built in W200 wireless adapter. There are no vista drivers for this device either... oh well back to ever faithfull XP Pro!!

    "A part of the path 'H:\GRLDR' could not be found" hmmmm...that is not a very long path. :p

    It would appear that the program is somehow unable to access your system partition. The issue is definitely with your hidden windows vista partition. You could either try to mount that partition first by running 'diskmgmt.msc' from the run/search bar in the start menu before running O7A, or you can wait for the next version of O7A (v1.1.4) as I am going to convert my code so that it uses GUID paths and will no longer have to mount the system partition. :)

    I am just confused as to why O7A was unable to access your OEM partition...this is the first time I have heard this happen, so I am pretty surprised. It is not an issue with installing anything, it is an issue of access and is specific to your system... Are you able to mount and create files on your "H:" drive manually? (e.g. can you mount "H:" manually with 'diskmgmt.msc' and copy files to it? Or do you get access errors then as well?)

    No, not until I can get the "bootmgr method" working with the commands I want to use with the GUID paths (e.g. the takeown command, etc.)... The command line commands I want to use are picky about GUID paths for some reason and some of them simply will not work.

    I will eventually figure out how I want to tackle the issue. I have a few ideas but all of them require a massive recode just to get trivial improvements to the program...and frankly right now it is not worth it with the time constraints I am under...

    Windows 7 Loader(s) Latest Versions???

    Hi everybody,

    wanna apologize if somewhere here on the forum exists this kind of topic already, I'm not sure if I posted this on the right thread.

    I'd like to ask if someone can confirm latest available version of Windows 7 Loader or Windows 7 Loader eXtreme Edition 3?

    Windows 7 Loader eXtreme Edition 3 can be found in so many versions everywhere, but I saw just version 3.115 confirmed and working (modified 13.10.2009). But U can find links to download version 3.116, 117, 118 even 3.119 but many of them seem to me like peace of crap infected with Spyware, Trojans, etc. So what is the real latest version of Windows 7 Loader XE, does anyone know?

    And that's my 2nd question. Why there are warnings from Antivirus and Internet Security softwares for almost all of Windows 7 Loaders? (because they are really infected or they just contain some part of code which Antivirus software recognize as spyware). Like application w7lxe.exe can be found in many diffrent size and often with warning for detection of Trojan:Win32/Alureon.BK or .CT I'm really not sure if warnings are relevant and if they are something we should to be affraid of.

    Thanks so much for any usefull information (or maybe just link to another posts of this forum) to make this clear, thank U, bye...
