there wont be tool tips on the custom info page yet and i decided that the advanced options are good enough im reorganizing the way it looks and it should be today sometime...
Sounds good. I couldnt think of anything to add to the advanced options either. It is probably fine as-is...
Released v1.2.3 in the OP. *1.2.3: ---Now when the program loads up, the "Product Key" combo box will automatically be set (like the "Cert/SLIC" combo box is)... The most recent product key will be selected (e.g. if you have a Lenovo system and are running Win7 Ultimate, then the "Lenovo (2)" product key will be automatically selected instead of the older "Lenovo" one). *NOTE: If no corresponding key exists in the "Product Key" combo box then the program will default to the "Acer" product key. ---Now when the user selects the "I have a modded BIOS" option, the "Product Key" combo box will automatically be set as well, just like the "Certificate/SLIC" combo box is... This is the same idea as above, but applies to when the user checks the "I have a modded BIOS" check box as well. ---Minor bug fix for the "Product Key File Editor". EDIT: As always, comments/questions/suggestions are always welcome! ...and let me know if you have any problems.
Hehe Let me know if you break it... (or perhaps it will be 'when' you break it, because you are pretty darn good at breaking apps )
"XP" is a dirty word around here...hehe...actually, that is "Vista". ...seriously though, why are you in XP? Are you trying to get your app working with XP now?
nah im just bored...my win 7 pc is sitting in front of me on the floor all i need to do is unplug the xp one and plug the win 7 one back in
Wow...over 300 people have downloaded the new version since I released it yesterday ...and no bug report yet? Is it possible that I finally released a version that does not have any major bugs...? hehe Well, I am working on the next version... As always, comments/suggestions/questions are always welcome!
That is very strange...and the first time I have heard of a problem like this. Can you pm me the contents of the error log file (run O7A again from within Windows 7, then expand the window by clicking the "Show Windows Activation Station", then click the "Click here for More Options..." button. When the "More Options..." window opens, click on the "Misc." tab, then on the "View Open 7 Activator's error log file..." link. The error log file will open in Notepad.) so that I can figure out what happened on your system... You did download if from the first post in this thread right? And you are using the newest version? EDIT: Also, what options did you have selected. You said you had tried the default option...did you mean the default "Loader Mode"?
lol...I never liked Vista, it always clogs up my computers and makes them run slower... I dont really want to support an older operating system. I would rather stick to supporting Windows 7 as well as possible.
Ok. You still need to send me the contents of the error log file so I can see if it is an issue with your system or with the program... I have tested this program, along with a few friends of mine and no one has had any problems...or experienced the issue you seem to be experiencing. It would be very helpful if I could see the contents of the error log file(s) so I would know where the issue started on your Dells...
Posted new version 1.2.4 in OP: *1.2.4: ---Added right-click context menus to O7A's main window. ---Fixed minor bug that caused the program to fail to gain the required access to install/remove the loader file in rare instances.
