You don't have to reinstall Win 7. You executed the office rearm command as administrator? run it and try again.
You are probably in Notification mode, sometimes it does not rearm once in that state. The solution is to use the fixit tool to uninstall Office 2010 completely and then install again.
fixit THANK YOU mates .. one more experience ==================== Product Activation Successful ==================== Remaining Grace: 180 days ====================
Works like a charm with Windows 7 Professional x64 and Office 2010 Plus x64 (both german). Should this also work inside a vm?
I could successfully activate Office 2010 (32bit) on Windows 7 (32bit). Works great!! Thank you!! But I had to go a slightly different way: * Install KMS key for the edition cscript "%PROGRAMFILES%\Microsoft Office\OFFICE14\OSPP.VBS" /inpkey:<kms key> * Set hostname to localhost cscript "%PROGRAMFILES%\Microsoft Office\OFFICE14\OSPP.VBS" /sethst:localhost * Disable firewall (in my case "Windows 7 Firewall Control" / at least concerning localhost resp. 127.0.0.1) * Run KMS emulator * Enable firewall That's it, i.e. * I had to disable the firewall to avoid ERROR CODE: 0xC004F074 (No Key Management Service (KMS) could be contacted) * I didn't have to use the "dstatus" and "act" commands Then I've got the product activated (180 days).
Hello there. Running Office 2010 Professional Plus x86 on Windows 7 Ultimate x64. No security software installed. 100% stock. Inserted the GVLK key. Changed the address. Ran the activator. Windows Firewall alerted for the KMS emulator, or so I remember it. Allowed it only in private networks. Only needed to repeat the activation request once, and it ran without a hitch. Office 2010 Professional Plus was successfully KMS-ed. Hopefully our feedback helps you in your analysis. Thanks a lot!
No need to disable the firewall. Simply allow the emulator in use and, after activation, if you want, remove it. The "dstatus" command only serves to show the status of Office and "act" command is not necessary because it is already inserted in UniKMS.
Activation of Office Professional Plus 2010: Sucessfully I activated the Office Professional Plus 2010 in Windows 7 Ultimate 84x. Inserted the GVLK key Setted host. Ran the activator (Windows Firewall pop ups for the KMS emulator, it was allowed it only in private networks) Activation status: Sucessfully!!!!! It does nothing compared with do it manually jejejej (and without install any foreing software) Its a great forum to learn from expert guys!!! Thanks!!!
Gentlemen, thanks in advance for your efforts here. I have been reading for several days now and think I'm ready to test Server 2008 Datacenter and Visio Pro for a very long time. There are some things which I am still uncertain about. Do I need to mod my bios (Tyan s2462) to include the SLIC table if I'm not using a virtual windows installation or a modified boot loader? Once I install the KWT.rar contents, will I be required to run any other commands beside the script I downloaded from page 18 of this thread to get everything activated? Is the HyperV Datacenter version supported in this activation process and if not, how do I leave it out of my install?
You don't need to have SLIC 2.1 in BIOS to use KMS, not for Windows, not for Office. Thats only if you want to use OEM-SLP keys. And you don't use KMS (or you can't use) KMS activation on Windows 7 home premium or Ultimate, then you have to use OEM-SLP or other activations. You use KMS to activate Win7 Pro or Enterprise, and Office 2010 (ProPlus and Standard)
You don't need to run any other command, just the script. Activate Volume Editions of Vista, Windows7, Server2K8, Server2K8-R2 and Office2010 via emulated KMS Host.
Big fat fail for me on Windows 7 enterprise, x64. Error 0x800705b4. If I disable all network connections (wifi and Ethernet) I get error 0x8007267c. I did activate office with another KMS server on the same computer without a hitch.
