Ok so I understand the philosophy behind the "extremely untouched" solution KMS but what are these things that get set up with various activation solutions including yours Phazor? 1. Rearming and why and what versions would ever need rearming? 2. Why does a service have to be set up and whats it's connection to the keygen that is sometimes used 3. So if the host is named correctly and volume key is entered then just attempt activation so that's it once every 180 days so does anything have to be installed or running during that duration to use that time? Ultimately I'd like to use yours or MD's method on my office 2010 pro plus only but still learning how the KMS activation or strategy might differ amongst different solutions like KMS mini's, uniKMS, EZ-activator like in the applications forum, etc... Thank you
1) You dont need to rearm anything, you merely renew the license period twice a year. 2) There is no need to install any services. The Host can be installed as a 'service', (IMO not a good idea), but its still ZWTs 'keygen' file thats actually running then. 3) No. You run the Host, you tell Windows to activate, you close the host. Nothing has to be installed and nothing has to be running until you renew half a year later.
I have successfully activated a copy of windows 7 ent using this activator. Will try to do it on Office 2010 next. My Windows 7 Ent is installed in a VM environment for testing purposes. Steps are simple!
Strange I uninstalled Office and reinstalled it and it's activated...lol Says 179 days left How did that happen ? And I removed the service from kms mini to try this and also any files in the office 14 folder like the keygen, task whatever! I want my system to be clean to test this any advice. Thank you
Well it works great on 3/4 of my computers. My laptop though, is being a bit of a pain with this.It simply will not activate office 2010 no matter what, it gives me the 0x8007000D or 0x8007232B I've tried over 100 times to activate. I've just about given up on this, and am about to roll the laptop back to 2007. I have tried even re-installing windows, and I get the same activation error. any help with this would be greatly appreciated. the laptop is a Dell Latitude E6410. I am almost beginning to think there is some sort of protection preventing me from doing this, as all of my other systems are custom built and the activator works for them on the first try!!
@serviceAce512 Try the Mini-KMS activator from Wzor ver 1.2, it will work on Office 2010. Or wait to KMSA 6.0 is finish.
I tried the EZ-activator but I really want this to work and to help test it I just want to eventually use this to manually activate every 180 days. I don't want a task, service, or keygen on my system so this seems cool to me Did you get my pm Phazor? Later
McAfee and VirusTotal comes up with the Mini-KMS Activator being a trojan though, is this just a false positive? Also, I tried setting the KMS server to 127.0.0.1 but did not include the port number in my script. maybe that is the downfall of this.
Its not Phazor's tool that I don't trust. it is the WZOR one I am more worried about. VirusTotal comes back with a 50% detection rate on it. This is why I am using this one but it won't activate. gives me the DNS error. going to try putting the port number in my script and see if I can activate then. seems like the KMS server is not being set correctly
If you don't want to use the mini-KMS activator, use the ZWT keygen and manual activation... MSE detect the mini-KMS activator as virus, but not F-prot, so I don't know, and I would not have used it on any of my real computers.
Manual method fails in the same fashion. I really am out of options here. I tried setting the port number, and it gave me a different error. I don't know why it is only this computer that is so troubled, every other one Ive used this tool on works perfectly. I guess I will have to run office 2007 on that laptop and then upgrade once this is fixed. I am not chancing using any type of Keygen or mini KMS and having a virus infect my network and file server
This will not work. you will need to download and run KMS emulator to activate it. it will not install a system service however like mini-kms.
Well it's suppost to activate VL's office if one just installs key and sets host name so I'm uncertain why it won't activate. It activated my win7 pro fine
