Yes I have. slmgr -skms localhost and I tried this too slmgr -skms localhost:1688 I am resinstalling office cause I tried the EZ-activator and I don't know how to unclear the activation...lol I'm curious about your .bat file's. So if I set name and key can I just use your .bat file's (not sure which) I just want to activate manually every 6 mo. Thank you. p.s. My office will be done in a few minutes and I'll test whatever then
I think its time to write a little 'Basics of KMS' tut. Unfortunately im quite busy the rest of the week, but i should have some time at the weekend. In the meantime: DNS problems (8007232B's) = Port not properly set. The cause for persistent 8007000D's is still unknown, but in the majority of cases it can be solved with a simple license store renewal. P.S.: Thanks everyone for their reports, i will try to address the open issues as soon as i have some time.
@MasterDisaster @Phazor Over the weekend I was playing with Ubuntu and its distro UE2.7, I got burned. For some reason, it got installed and messed up Windows 7 Ultimate MBR activated by Grub. Now it makes sense to me because earlier, I managed to download Ubuntu dual boot with Windows 7 activated by your KMS without problem. There is a big diffrence between Windows activated by Windows loader and your KMS GLVK method. Windows loader is grub-based and Ubuntu boot is also grub and may be the resulting imcompatibility of 2 grubs messed up Windows MBR real bad. It was dead totally. I had to re-install my Windows 7. I reinstall Windows 7 Pro and Office 2010 Select Edition and tried your activator KMS Alpha 2.7. I set both windows and office to local host, thanks to code provided by MD. First try everything activated without a hitch. It's time to finalize your activator accordingly.
Used the activator on a x301 Thinkpad with success. Win 7 Enterprise activated on the second attempt and passed online validation. Office 2010 ProPlus VL did not activate until it was rearmed (800700 error) but then activated on the first try. One question I also had with EZ-Activator, why does MGADiag and online validation not see Office as being installed? Because it is KMS? Windows Update sees it & updates. New instructions are well-written - almost idiot-proof. Thanks, look forward to the final version.
It is because the OGA has not yet been updated to look for Office 2010. Once OGA is released for Office 2010 both the validation site and the MGADiag tool will display Office status.
Hello Phazor I've download your UniKMS Alpha2 to test it on my Office Professional Plus 2010 KMS Client Edition Without success Im every time i try i get this error code 0x8007000D Error description: Run the following script ospp.vbs /ddescr:0x8007000D so what that means? I usualy use miniKMSActivator v1.3 for my Office it works i rearm my office to test your alpha2 cant get it to work Oh! maybe i'm using wrong edition jeje! i should change it to VL insted of using KMS ill feedback later PS or maybe you can make it work on both edition VL and KMS
Here I am again with some feedback i try your UniKMS Alpha2 this time on Windows 7 Professional RTM fresh installed on VMWorkstation v7.1 Full and it did not work at all says error and something like "The activation server determined the specified product key is blocked".... what's happening here? I tested other KMS activators non of them works on VM's so the problem its I'm running it on VM I don't want to go further since my Windows 7 Professional RTM 7600 on my PC its "Genuine" of course with OEM Certs and SLP Key since my PC with Non modified BIOS comes with SLIC 2.1 and don't want to mess up....
Because I like this untouched solution so much I reinstalled Windows 7 Pro (real machine) and Office 2010 RTM Pro Plus and activated both perfectly. Great Job Phazor Love it...lol See you in 6 months ...lol
Phazor the problem its cause im using it on VMachine I patched VMWorkstation Bios to HP OEM to see if it make any difference but no "Windows its running on no core....something" definitively its the VMachine lol no problem then, I guess it should work on regular installations i will try again when i have to do a reinstallation of Windows and let you know... see ya! Good work keep going i bet on you jaja
The answer to your problem is found in thread#127 by MasterDisaster. I think you need to re-arm your office and set office to local host, then run activator. Let see what happen. Try that and let us know.
My bad, Phazor has told people that he will fix the :1688 problem in the new UniKMS version, so I was sure he had fixed it already.
