Hello everybody! Without creating another thread, I would like to post my question here in Firefox updated thread. 3/4 days back I'm having some wired problem in firefox browser , whenever I try to log in to sites having some media (video) contents , the browser stuck at then freezes and I got a warning message that a script stopped responding ...please stop the script or continue till it responds.. etc. Its very very annoying even I can't open my thread here. The steps taken to solve the problems are- 1) Disabled all add on but failed 2) Resetted firefox failed again. 3) Uninstalled firefox and reinstalled the older version 30 again failed. 4) Scanned with hitman pro, add cleaner,roughware cleaner,jrt and malwarebyte but found nothing ,everything are cleaned. 5) Updated to the version31 , again same problem. Why do I face this embarrassing situation? Are there any solution available to solve my problem? Any quick help from the experts here, will highly be appreciated! Thanks and regards, sid_16.
Hi Brother, a week ago i got similar problem, but not so weird as yours.. try to clean uninstall Mozila FireFox included windows registry check HKCU Software Mozilla also check HKLM Software Mozilla, check users your name appdata local firefox delete all user profile you can backup if necessary. Change your DNS IP Tcp IPv4 prefered and alternate..try using open dns or other than your previous DNS, Restart / reset (Soft reset) your Router included HUB switch if you have.. re-Install Mozilla FireFox with Final version in this case FireFox 31..and watch.. Give it a try.. even more simple it's worked for me.. now I'm just fine with FireFox 32 beta 7.
Saw a weird bug in FF 32b9 which forced me to revert to 32b8. When I download, the download bar remains green for a long time. Could not even cancel or cut the download. Hope this is resolved in 32.0 build 1.
