Thank you for replying but when I try to install the cab file I get the following error attaching a scrnshot
Is there any documentation on what some of these components do? Like the Realtek Audio Service, audio effects component (APO), hardware support application (HSA) and ASIO? I can make a guess on ASIO, but not the others.
Hey Is there any way to get Intel SST + Realtek working while keeping WHQL without any third party software like dolby, fortemedia effects, etc? I'm already using generic realtek uad drivers but looks like intel SST is the responsible driver for all that unwanted software. I'm not a fan of any audio enhancement software and I would like to avoid having it running in background at all times.
what kind of computer are you using, TigTex? (post specs of your computer like name & model) usually the Intel HDA SST bus driver is installed on most recent laptop PCs and hardly/seldomly used (or not used) on desktop motherboards using Realtek HD audio
Yeah it's a laptop. Lenovo L490 with Intel SST 10.23.0.4880 and Realtek 6.0.8854.1. These are the latest official drivers from lenovo
Depends on what your system is and what sound card you have ?????? Or if it comes with you motherboard, tell the make.
