that's not pal1000's problem, chillgates that's up to Realtek themselves to fix that edit - and the many different volume settings are "hardcoded" into the rtkaiodat.dat database & rtkvhd64.sys driver files, depending on ALCnnn chipset and hardware ID on my old HP m8417c desktop PC using Realtek alc888s, regardless of whether I use HDA or UAD drivers on there, the default volume setting is set at 67 and loudness equalization is enabled by default (the sound is already loud, so loud that I need to turn down the volume and disable the loudness EQ option whenever I install old or new drivers on there)
same case here. hda or uad default volume is at 67 on install. but i always put volume to 12 or so. while listening songs or movie i put up to 25. that is not the problem. what i meant was while m$ driver sounded great at 25 , i am getting that same volume at 50 points with pal1000 driver. mokichu driver is a bit better but still his volume is also low so that i have to increase 10 points than normal.
Guys, can you please help me get latest UAD driver for: HDAUDIO\FUNC_01&VEN_10EC&DEV_0887&SUBSYS_10438576 Best regards!
Thanks, ended using HDA 9239.1 because any other drivers caused the microphone to not being detected in discord.
