    can you mix extension builds? like i want to install the 94641 driver but my extension is older , for creative
    never mind ill wait a custom package

    does it store presets in registry or in its native folder?

    i did find info that realtek presets are stored in the registry {[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\MMDevices\Audio\Render\}. i guess just back up whole dir thingy.
    Btw. you better get better; hate the cold, flu and tonsilitis cold is the worst.

    I remember my equalizer preset values so that i can set it even when i wake up from sleep. :tooth:

    yeah there is differently named subdir, i just copy all from one and restore to the new subdir that has a different name but in the same location
