Every build Realtek makes a complete build for all manufacturers that is available for all manufacturers to grab and release hdxrt.cat contains the crc/sha/whatever of all the files RTKVHD64.sys RTAIODAT.DAT HDXGigabyte.inf HDXAsus.inf etc.. if say Lenovo release 6.0.9499.1 You can take the following files from that release hdxrt.cat RTKVHD64.sys RTAIODAT.DAT then if there is no changes in HDXGigabyte.inf you can just replace the date and build id and the crc will match and is a valid driver identical to what Realtek released for gigabyte if there are changes you have to find what has changed in the HDXGigabyte.inf which is the magic erpster is doing the same goes for ExtRtk
I did change from HDA to UAD. But sometimes you get problems while installing UAD drivers, then you have to use some tools like DDU to get it installed correctly.
HDA can be replaced by UAD that matches your sound card driver. Add the replacement in the device manager, because I have done it that way myself, and it has all succeeded. For example, replace HDA6.0.9273.1 with UAD6.0.9481.1, and also With Dolby sound. I can't upload pictures here, so I can't confirm it for you. Feel sorry! ! !
Hello, I try to make drivers for LENOVO (HDXLV.inf). How can I find missing ID when I update the driver ? Thanks,
Im not really sure what you are asking Lenovo have a 6.0.9499 Driver you would just use that if you mean how can you add other id's to it you cant as thats what lenovo and realtek support any id's added would break the whql signature in the cat file you could ofc manually add id's and force install non whql drivers but i wont go into how to do that If you mean how can i take the Lenovo 6.0.9499 and add id's to lets say Asus.inf or Gigabyte.inf you would have to ask erpster I presume he is opening the cat file and scanning through what was added somehow then going through the Gigabyte.inf and manually adding the data in until the inf matches the cat file and passes the whql/crc/sha checks
Hello, Thanks but in fact Lenovo driver has only HDXLVSST INF and I need HDXLV INF (without SST). I suppose I have to wait a later version except if epster has time to develop how he find missing ID. KR,
Hello, No need to be sorry ! I'll wait you have time to expose how you find new ID because it's always nice to learn new stuff Hello, Thanks, can you explain how did you make it ?
Any UAD driver for this device? HDAUDIO\FUNC_01&VEN_10EC&DEV_0897&SUBSYS_1565825E ( Biostar H510MHP 2.0 Ver. 6.0 ) Thanks!
When I had Asus B350 mobo with Realtek 887 chip, I could install Asrock, Super Micro , M$ UAD drivers on it successfully. But when I changed mobo to Gigabyte B450 Aorus M with Realtek 892 chip, the setups from Asrock, Supermicro throwing errors about incompatible hardware and later wheh tried to install Gigabyte UAD, it threw error "previous setup incomplete". For one hour I couldn't install / uninstall any other driver. I tried to delete drivers in Device Manager, used Driver Store Explorer to delete driver and also DDU. None worked. Then I switched off win updates, installed Supermicro HDA 6.0.9205 successfully. Later I installed Shonk latest Gigabyte UAD 6.0.9500.1 on top of that. Question is why not my new mobo allowing other's drivers ?
Does anyone know the most current model/version compatible with Realtek High Definition Audio 6.0.8895.1, A16? My notebook is a Dell 5566 that uses this version along with Waves MaxxAudio, the problem is that it is an extremely old driver and Waves consumes an absurd amount of RAM after a while of use. For those who have a Dell, you are almost forced to use the version available on their site, which is Realtek-High-Definition-Audio-Driver_MM88C_WIN_6.0.8895.1_A16.EXE, since if you install a newer version of the driver (via SDIO, for example), it works, but when plugging a headphone or anything else in the headphone jack, it does not change for the headphone and keeps the speaker of the notebook. To recognize it, you have to reboot. Does anyone know an alternative way to make this change or a newer version?
