Thats due to Pal1000 not including the Realtek installer and using a batch file mainly down to the drivers not being whql signed I personally dont use the installer and directly install the inf's but alot of people want the installer This is of use to people who's hardware dont have a uad driver My old Dell Vostro 3750 for example if you have an official uad driver its always better to use a signed release and not the generic driver pal1000 provides
