    If your speakers got remote control then find surround or 3d button option and press it. If source is stereo only then you get stereo only. And also set the video or audio player options you using for surround output.

    right i got you

    just delete the Codec_9599.1 folder before running setup
    i always manually install the drivers so didnt test the installer with two copy's of the Codec in the folder

    These are non-official modded drivers. Sometimes they caused issues on my PC, like low volume or distorted bass in higher volumes, and that doesn't happen with official drivers from Asus' website.

    rog-forum.asus.com => Drivers : 6.0.9618.1 WHQL [12/12/2023] => (Realtek + Microsoft = WHQL) => FOR ASUS Motherboards USERS => not official drivers from Asus website

    ( The Windows Hardware Quality Labs = WHQL )
