    Maybe the ALC4082 firmware is damaged.
    I will send an email to ASRock Technical Support.

    Can I get the ASRock ALC4082 firmware file and tools?

    Is there a way to backup the audio firmware you are using?
    (Realtek ALC4080/4082 audio chipset firmware)

    On the same motherboard
    I'm thinking about how to extract only firmware and transplant it.

    I modified the inf's about 10 mins after station drivers posted MSI 6.0.9735.1 before going to bed last night

    HP
    hdxssthpbnb1.inf Modified Fine
    HDX_HpExt_SR_FORTE_Hybrid.inf Modified Fine
    HDX_HpExt_HSA.inf Couldnt get past 6.0.9721.1

    Gigabyte

    for optical the registry fix is needed for sure
    i couldnt comment on normal analogue
