(Strongly recommended) Advise: If you have Win11 24H2, then I would avoid Sonic Studio III version of the drivers for the ASUS ROG boards. Just Sonic Studio III causes delays and problems, for example when you click on power button (it may stop responding for few seconds). MoKiChU said to me: To get rid of SS3 app/drivers before installing the Realtek ASUS ROG SS3 driver pack: Delete the A-Volute folder from AUDIO_Realtek_UAD_ASUS_ROG_SS3-DTS_v6.0.xxxx.x\Drivers\Win64\ThirdParty folder then follow scrupulously your CLEANUP process then your INSTALL process (without installing SS3 apps). For the next drivers packages that I would release, you will can directly follow the UPDATE process (always after having delete the A-Volute folder from AUDIO_Realtek_UAD_ASUS_ROG_SS3-DTS_v6.0.xxxx.x\Drivers\Win64\ThirdParty folder). Credits/Thanks to MoKiChU for the driver packs and info. (Optional) Advise: Please avoid Armory crate and all related crap, unless you really need the RGB/ARGB control etc.
For me (ROG STRIX B550A Gaming), if I install the SS3 driver pack without a-volute driver, I don't get any sound. The ASUS ROG/TUF/RTK/ProArt pack somewhat worked (probably due to the generic ASUS part of the driver), but it is not suitable for my board. Edit: The proper way to install the SS3 driver pack is to: install the SS3 pack normally (with a-volute drivers), but without installing the SS3 apps. After installation you can choose to disable All Sound Effects from Realtek Audio Console, to avoid the problems with SS3. Thanks to MoKiChU for the driver packs and info.
