These definitely worked normally for me. Just checked and I have 6.0.1.8536 and 1.2.139.0 combo, will be updating to the last UWP version you posted.
Realtek Audio Control update to silently 1.2.139.0 from Microsoft Store on my Gigabyte motherboard, 1.2.139.0 supposed to support for Gigabyte motherboard "Hardware not supported" error may be is a bug on 1.2.138.0 / 1.2.139.0 of the App, so they fixed that bug on 1.2.140.0 My machine use Realtek Audio Control, then I try to use older version of HP Audio Control and it working Since HP Audio Control 1.2.138.0, HP Audio Control not working with non-HP machine, even 1.2.140.0 You can see there have no Realtek Audio Control 1.2.138.0 I suppose they just update HP Audio Control 1.2.138.0 to 1.2.139.0 and rename HP Audio Control to Realtek Audio Control. They forget to change the Hardware ID support list of the Realtek app (HP to Realtek) So that it is why that app working only HP machine.
