I think you missed the main sentence of my post. I am using an NVidia 630, and as most people have experienced there is almost ALWAYS a problem after an update.... So my question is, is it bettrer to use Intel or Realtek instead of the NVida? Especially when it ia such a hassle to avoid installing all the other crap, incl. telemetry that now comes with every update of an NVidia Driver?
One day later: found the solution to taking control of a folder Thanks. An hour ago I did my sort of monthly check of Program FIles /Program Data folders and what do I see Inside the NVidia Folder? Another NVidia folder with the name: NvTelemetry And it cannot be deleted. I went to the NVidia control Panel and in the Help menu, I found: "Allow Experience Improvement Program" and it was by default clicked "On" Even after unclicking, the .dat file in the folder cannot be delteted.... ???
if I install this versions, the ASUS Sonic Studio and the ASUS Skin in realtek hd manager will be lost? Thanks a lot
Realtek HD Audio Driver 6.0.1.8287 WHQL is out. Win 7,8,10 x32/64 DriverVer=10/31/2017, 6.0.1.8287 Search Windows Update catalog for "Realtek Sound" and order descending the results by "Last Updated".
Depending what old means, it's the official download you get from their pages which are tested, posting beta builds (and there are all beta builds) doesn't mean automatically there better. It's normally not needed to update to each new beta.
