UAD or HDA, the choice is yours, your motherboard is compatible with both.

    Hi,
I want latest Realtek UAD for my rig.. where can I find the download?

    my Laptop's specs ->>
    Asus ROG GL702VMK
    Windows 10 Pro 1809 (Build 17763.437)
    [Realtek chipset] ALC3236-VB2
    Hardware ID: HDAUDIO\FUNC_01&VEN_10EC&DEV_0255&SUBSYS_10431760

by the way, the reason I need UAD and not the legacy HDA is that I want to be able to equip my system with Audio Enhancers like 'Dolby Atmos gaming for speaker system' which from my understanding needs UAD alongside Realtek Audio Control Console to be installed first....

  7. Hello guys. Newbie here. I noticed this thread and I'm confused now. Which drivers are these? I use the latest from Realtek page, R2.82. Are these newer? Can someone break it to me? Much appreciated.

Much newer, and very often updated.

  9. Why they aren't posted on official Realtek page? How far am I behind? Also I know since I installed those R2.82, I don't have control panel. I use these from far back, 2 years at least.

Edit: Follow up question, are this drivers compatible with all mobos? Mine is ASUS H81M-R, 4th gen.

Not sure if this topic is destined for such questions, but could somebody lend a hand on pinpointing the latest audio drivers for my friend's laptop? Here's the quick laptop info:

Lenovo Ideapad 320-15ABR (Machine type: 80XS)
Windows Embedded 8.1 Industry Pro (6.3.9600; I assume that the Win7 drivers do work for Win8.1)
    HWID: HDAUDIO\FUNC_01&VEN_10EC&DEV_0230&SUBSYS_17AA381C&REV_1000

By conducting my quick research onto the latest driver offered by Lenovo for Windows 10. (6.0.1.8245; can't link due to the low post restrictions, but you can find it in that ideapad drivers' section on lenovo's support site), the driver includes the fortemedia stuff (fmapo), so it should be FF01. I need to have a second opinion on that though, so that I can be sure the offered drivers would perfectly fit for the soundcard.

Many thanks to the person who will help. :)

    Sir,
The driver listed there for windows 10, will work for 64 bit versions of Win 7, Win 7 SP 1, Win 8, Win 8.1 & Win 10.

    Thanks & Regards. ...

That's good to know. The only thing I need to know is if the FF01-type drivers should exactly fit for my friend's soundcard. Repeating myself once again by researching the drivers offered by Lenovo (download.lenovo.com/consumer/mobiles/esla02af.exe; extracted by using uniextract) the Source\WIN64 folder includes the ForteMedia stuff (characteristic for FF01, also proven by Source\ADCTL) and Dolby DAX 2 (stuff in Source\WIN64 and Source\DAX2; by researching the FFxx ids those should be included in generic drivers - FF00). I hope that my assumptions are correct.
