thanks alanfox2000 for the updated 8757 FF00 HDA driver package. I think there are some 8761 UAD WHQL drivers recently available from realtek's ftp server as well. also note that it has been exactly two years since Realtek released the R2.82 (8186) HDA drivers on their web site (R2.82 was released 7/26/2017)
As i said, UAD drivers are compatible with all Realtek HD Audio devices.. so it's literally unification like the name implies.
@alanfox2000 When ever I take a look at your files I see there's something different when compared to MSI releases. ie, MSI 8765.1_UAD_WHQL_Nahimic_1420_2019_0805_113029.zip does not have file HDXRT.inf even though you have hdxrt.cat. I see HDXSSTMSI.inf uses catalog file hdxrt.cat so perhaps HDXRT.inf is not needed??
Is the latest FF10 release 8703? unfortunately, I can't use FF00 drivers because the enhancements doesn't work (EQ, Echo Cancellation, etc)
HDXRT.inf is not needed. Only this Hardware ID in HDX_MsiExt_AVO_RTK.inf & HDX_MsiExt_AVO_V4_RTK_KD.inf support Nahimic, these inf have SUBSYS. HDXRT.inf don't have SUBSYS. If MSI want to their new laptop support Nahimic, Realtek will add DEV ID and more detailed SUBSYS ID on HDXMSI.inf/ HDXSSTMSI.inf
@alanfox2000 UADInfEditor_v1.36 keeps crashing when trying to open package. Maybe the Realtek folder got too big? It loads for a few seconds but then it just crashes.
UADInfEditor_v1.36 keeps crashing whenever I try to use "open package" on my UAD folder, which contains realtek and xsetup folders from alanfox2000 github. Is there any solution?
