Hi, I have a hp laptop pavilion 15 Specs HP Pavilion 15 Notebook - 15-ay076nia Device ID : Device HDAUDIO\FUNC_01&VEN_10EC&DEV_0282&SUBSYS_103C81EC&REV_1000 Windows 10 v1903 Enterprise I am getting audio compression when using any audio driver: Microsoft High Def Audio drivers Default Realtek drivers from HP Realtek AUD drivers Is there a way to debug and find out what is causing the compression. Like a hidden APO Limiter or something.. also worth mentioning the default drivers come with DTS
@pal1000 i am a big fan of your Unofficial Realtek UAD Generic drivers! i am working a lot whit audio as i am a musician, Using fl studio and other! i use to use the HDA drivers but after i tried your UAD's it was a night and day! what specific driver can you recommend me for music work and mastering ? and are there any Unofficial Realtek UAD whit Realtek's Asio drivers? My sound card is integrated on my asus X99A motherboard, ALC 1150 Suports DTS Ultra PC & DTS Connect Thx
I'm sorry to say this elajitz, but Realtek UAD drivers do NOT support that hardware ID on the Asus X99-a motherboard therefore you must use FFxx HDA based Realtek audio drivers (aka nonUAD). on the other hand, there are "separate" Realtek ASIO integration DLL files for HDA (nonUAD) drivers but they need to be placed in the ASIO folder of the HDA driver package before installing the HDA drivers. send me a PM for those asio files for HDA if you want them.
@erpsterm35 Okay thx for the Info! Do you know any good sounding HDA driver that can fits my needs in my music creation! Thx
