Hi! It's really strange because I found directly in the driver donwload from the Asus Site for your board you can find all DTS and Doldy, SS and more files but It's HDA not UAD. the latest version are (v6.0.1.8746) 2019/12/03 from the site. Or, you downloaded the bad files. Make a clean install and try again or use the driver from the Asus site if everything worked good before. For me, I used the prime-tuf-dts from @MoKiChU and it works fine everything, optical 5.1ch DTS Interactive (Prime Z270-A). I don't know if I helped you but good luck Merry Christmas.
HI! Now I have a big small question. Since I bought my board (Asus Prime Z270-A), I always use optical 5.1ch DTS Interactive with Logitech Z906. I never notice difference in the sound between each driver, It's a clear sound. Is It normal and why? Because It's optical? And I switch to UAD driver few months ago and still no difference and always on optical. Excellent Sound always but It's only a question on why? The new driver only changes for the non-optical? Ok I stop my questions lol
Hi to everyone. I'm using Lenovo notebook model s340-15API with its Realtek drivers and Dolby audio that you can find on Lenovo support site. The release is only 8706 of UAD Realtek driver (August 2019) no more updates. Can you suggest me alternative good drivers set to install? I have also Realtek audio control panel and Dolby audio panel. I reinstalled windows 10 1909 with original Microsoft msdn ISO image and automatically windows installed all audio component itself.
Hi! Since I use your UAD driver, I can use Realtek Audio Control. I'm not a professionnal but Intel, Nvidia and more have the New standard driver, Intel with graphics driver for procesor are only DCH for the latest driver and Nvidia too you can choose DCH or Normal. Realtek UAD or HDA... etc. I think we can use the new standard driver for every board because of the Windows 10 can run this new standard and not because Asus or other brand don't show the new driver standard (I think). I read some article for this new driver UAD, DCH ... etc and It's only with Windows 10 64 bit we can but I don't know if It's really better. One thing is sure, thx to bring us the latest driver and to make a great job @MoKiChU and do you have a post thread for the latest MEI Firmware to check mine, thx
Sorry to bother you but I have a Z170 motherboard (ASUS Maximus VIII Hero Alpha) will any of these drivers work with my motherboard? Thanks
Agreed. I used to be over there. Asked a simple question about an updated BIOS for my STRIX X370-f Gaming. Got flammed and told to go Google search it. Toxicity at it's best over there.
@MoKiChU Thank you for the driver updates much appreciated they work awesome. Only one issue i have i cant get SS3 to work on my mobo its the Asus x299 ROG Rampage VI Apex. it just hangs and eventually closes when i try launch it.Also whats weird i cant find any info on the Asus website if the board actually supports SS3 or if its only SS2. I have uninstalled and clean registry and also use DriverStoreExplorer to delete junk files that might have be left behind. Any info would be greatly appreciated Kind Regards Rowen
Hi, Your motherboard is neither SS3 nor SS2 compatible. You need Realtek HD Audio Drivers (UAD - ASUS ROG-PRIME-TUF RTK) from my latest update post.
