Please mention what version Realtek setup and binaries molded in a new release. So we can know the drivers are up-to-date or out-of-date
Hi everyone, I wanted to clarify that from this year, I will try reduce the release frequency of my drivers packages. This choice is mainly explained by the release frequency too high for some people who constantly ask me this question by PM "Why the release frequency is so high ?" (and I understand them) with what it implies (Setup.exe > uninstall > restart > install > restart).
I use Realtek binaries version as overall version because of high frequency updates from Realtek (3/week with this week hitting 4) . If there is a change to setup I mention it in release announcement. Due Realtek very rapid binaries updates it's pointless to version setup on it's own. If I have to re-release same binaries with updated setup I append "-n" to version with "n" being an incremental counter starting with 2. But I don't even remember when it was last time I had to do this so it's very uncommon.
Hi MoKiChU, after uninstalling the Realtek drivers via Control Panel and then cleaning it up with 1.DriverCleanup.exe, Treexy Driver Fusion, Display Driver Uninstaller, there still are plenty of keys in the registry when you search for "Realtek", "Volute", "Nahimic", "Rtk", even after Ccleaner and AusLogics Registry Cleaner they're still present. Revo Uninstaller doesn't change anything. Does one need to manually remove them, or they don't interfere with anything? And one more thing: could you please release a driver for v1809 at least every month? It's the LTSC version that's used by those who don't want to rent their hardware to Microsoft (I obviously mean all that telemetry gathering that Microsoft busies our PCs with and then sells it to advertisers).
It might be a bit weird question, but can I somehow get this to work with my MSI mobo? I got it to work on my old ASUS, then I was stupid enough to other drivers. I think there are trojans in TechPowerUp's s**t.
So I have this crashdump file I want you to take a look at. I suspect it's from alan's 19H1 (newest) aduio release... Is it a virus? Wtf is crypt.. and what is it doing on my D: drive? https: //mega. nz/#!rCpXXISY!yYwdvqzOaJdhbr-lRTcf087mEIybCQ5cl2e_EPlaHrs
I didn't mind the frequency, but of course I totally understand your reasons. Thank you so much for all the hard work to keep us updated, and happy new year, pal!
