Hey everybody, thank you for your support here MoKiChU and everyone. I just installed Realtek HD Audio Drivers (UAD - ASUS ROG SS3-DTS) for my Mainboard ASUS ROG STRIX X570-E Gaming. Before i checked again my mb-manual, my board has the ROG SupremeFX 8-Channel High Definition Audio S1220A CODEC on board with the Audio Features Sonic Studio III, Sonic Radar III and DTS Sound Unbound. So i think i get the correct driver from the list. Now, what i have done is: - deinstalled with Geek old Version of Sonic Studio/Radar - deinstalled Realtek Audio Control - deinstalled Realtek Audio Driver Then loaded the package from the link. 1. run Setup.exe in the first folder. Now the Realtek Driver installed, made a system newstart I checked the realtek driver, installation was successfull 2. Install Realtek Audio Control ( klicked on the app in the post, install then over MS-Store ) 3. Install Sonic Studio III ( klicked on the app in the post, installed then over MS-Store ) 4. Install Sonic Radar III ( klicked on the app in the post, installed then over MS-Store ) 5. Klick an DTS:X Unbound ( klicked on the app in the post, install then over MS-Store ) but here comes error. MS Store installed nothing Sonic Studio and Sonic Radar are runnig. So DTS:X Unbound can not be install ? AND: When i started Realtek Audio Control the app is loading a long time and then comes the message: Reatek Audio Control can not connect to RPC-Service. I checked the RPC-Servcie and RPC is running. Can anbody help and give me advice ? Thank you for your help. EDIT 1: Found the app DTS Sound Unbound in the MS-Store. I installed this app. So i think DTS:X ist not the correct one for me... ? So just the problem with teh Realtek Audio Control stays on .... EDIT 2: Now, after installing DTS Sound Unbound an system restart the Realtek Audio Control is getting started. Dont know why, but it is running. So all is running well.... Maybe this experience can help someone else...
Hi, Thank you for your feedback, I have checked/fixed the links of the apps on all my update posts so that this bad experience does not happen again with someone else.
Question: In Windows Autostart i detect the program Realtek HD Audio Universal Service who is activated. What is this for a program from RT ? Is the program needed ? Or should i deaktivate this program ? Many Thanks for your answers ...
Hi, It allows the system to communicate/interact with Realtek Audio Control whether it is open or not.
The EXE file for "Realtek HD Audio Universal Service" is RtkAudUService64.exe leave it alone - do not deactivate it
Hi, The drivers package you used is not for your motherboard. You need Realtek HD Audio Drivers (UAD - ASUS ROG SS3) from my latest update post.
Hi. First I want to say I appreciate all the work being done here as well as other members contributions across MDL Forums. I'm preparing a fresh USB install of WIN7 Ent and am collecting all the needed files and drivers for the ISO integration/creation. I'll be using Simplix Pack and Enthousiast's MDL Win 7 Tool to create the ISO. I'm a bit lost in choosing an updated Realtek Audio Driver. Current driver being used is v6.0.1.7525 dated June 2015 (which is the latest from ASUS support). Sound has been working fine all this time so haven't been concerned about updating it, but think I should this time around. It seems that for quite some time now Win10 has only been supported. I'm hoping that someone could take a moment and let me know/point me in the right direction of what would be the best choice Realtek Driver for Win7. I have plans on a Win10 ltsb/ltsc build also for a later time, haven't decided on how to install it yet (Microsoft multi-boot, VMWare, or VHD). As I understand, MoKiChU's contribution of "Realtek HD Audio Drivers (UAD - ASUS ROG SS3-DTS)" is the correct choice for Win10 on my system. My system specs is here...
