Hi. First I want to say I appreciate all the work being done here as well as other members contributions across MDL Forums.

I'm preparing a fresh USB install of WIN7 Ent and am collecting all the needed files and drivers for the ISO integration/creation. I'll be using Simplix Pack and Enthousiast's MDL Win 7 Tool to create the ISO.

I'm a bit lost in choosing an updated Realtek Audio Driver. Current driver being used is v6.0.1.7525 dated June 2015 (which is the latest from ASUS support). Sound has been working fine all this time so haven't been concerned about updating it, but think I should this time around.

It seems that for quite some time now Win10 has only been supported. I'm hoping that someone could take a moment and let me know/point me in the right direction of what would be the best choice Realtek Driver for Win7.

I have plans on a Win10 ltsb/ltsc build also for a later time, haven't decided on how to install it yet (Microsoft multi-boot, VMWare, or VHD). As I understand, MoKiChU's contribution of "Realtek HD Audio Drivers (UAD - ASUS ROG SS3-DTS)" is the correct choice for Win10 on my system.

    My system specs is here...
ASUS Maximus VII Formula w/SupremeFX Formula 2014 Audio ALC1150 (Sonic Soundstage, Sonic Studio, DTS Connect, Sonic Radar)
    Intel I-7 4790K
    32GB G.Skill TridentX Ram
    (2) ASUS Strix Nvidia GTX 980Ti OC SLI
    (3) SanDisk Extreme Pro SSD's
    (3) Seagate Barracuda HDD's

Thank You MoKiChu for straightening me out. I wasn't quite grasping it overall and haven't been keeping up with newer mobo technology than what I currently have.

Again, Thank You for your time.

Hey guys do is there another realtek audio enancement other than the Windows Realtek Audio control? I remember I was using Audio control panel from realtek that came with the driver, maybe that might be outdated dont know.

The Window realtek app has some issues sometimes?

I dont use the SSIII or the other audio things that are for my mobo.

    Thanks in advance.

You're probably thinking of the HDA drivers.

Did you restart your PC after installing DTS Custom from Microsoft Store ?

If yes and the problem persists, do a clean install of audio drivers/apps, the problem is on your system.
