Hi, thx for curating this, I just have a couple of questions.
Sorry if this has been asked before.
What is the difference between the whql package, MS catalog and vendor specific ones like Gigabyte?
I have a Gigabyte motherboard, should I stick with the vendor specific ones?

The WHQL package is usually the most comprehensive as it includes all vendor specific drivers with easy installer, the audio control panel. the audio service and add-ons like Nahimic and others. Windows Update Catalog drivers contain 1 or all vendor drivers and nothing else and vendor specific driver is exactly the same thing but it also includes the easy installer and is packaged using the new UAD format.

Gotcha, so best to stick with the vendor specific ones then, right?
Any chance at all of enabling features of other vendors like Msi's Nahimic on Gigabyte motherboards?
