Hi MoKiChu, Thank you for the Asus Realtek Audio Drivers packages.... As noted I would like to confirm which Install/Update process and apps match the audio specifications of the Asus Prime X299 Edition 30 to ensure optimal performance. Your guidance is much appreciated. Many thanks Bladeslap
.. while, as a rule, I would be inclined to agree with you, it does not explain why (when using MS Store) I can download 2 out of the 3 apps with the only difference between the 3 links being the product ID, surely if the issue was solely with the PC then all 3 should fail... Thanks very much for the provided link , much apreciated.
From what you told me, technically, you failed to install the 3 apps from the MS Store. If you have successfully obtained the offline install packages for SS3&SR3, it's only because you dowloaded it via the Adguard's MS Store webtool (using the ids/links from the INSTALL process). To answer your question (why the id/link of Realtek Audio Control does not work on the Adguard's MS Store webtool), some ids/links are particular because they concern several variants of the same app with different release branches that only the HSA SWC driver can determine which branch should be used (Example for Realtek Audio Control : There are several types of Realtek Audio Control, a global version that most OEMs use (like the one I gave you the link), and others specific to certain OEMs like HP or Dell).
certainly explains the issue with Adguard.. as regards installation, my original post was somewhat misleading.. should have read "does not give me the option to install or save" (save being preferred) am still currently running HDA driver (8816), and at the moment just gathering information (and files) for 19624 upgrade (clean install - preferring to do everything myself rather than going through MS) .. the issues I am currently experiencing, can be traced back to a recent Armoury Crate update for which i cannot attribute a reason, or pinpoint the underlying cause, and as it is only a relative inconvenience, haven't put much effort into resolving it.... I thank you for your continued contribution and valued input..
Don't worry dear friends, there is no problem, there are only solutions Yes, of course (but sincerely I do not understand that you are asking the question since the install of Realtek ASIO is part of one of the steps (optional) of the INSTALL process whatever the motherboards category).
Which ASRock package do I use for a x470 taichi? latest ones on asrock's site are Realtek(v8750.1_UAD_WHQL_DTS) from September it's not a nahimic nor SBC board, that leaves RTK, is that enough or are you going to add a DTS package as well?
Thanks. Since I guess I misunderstood your April 22nd post to me about my two options (HDA - ASUS ROG SSx with SS2 and vulnerability and HDA - ASUS ROG/PRIME/TUF DTS&RTK without SS2 and vulnerability) I thought maybe I got this download wrong too. Really appreciate your help, BJBBJB
Thanks, I guess I was right and that machine requires a fresh windows anyway. Using your drivers on my x470 rog crosshair vii hero as well and they've fixed a bunch of issues I had, appreciate the effort you're putting in!
@MoKiChU Thank you so much for your hard work on this. I really thankful to you. Just one recommendation. In your latest drivers you deleted setup exe and added bat scripts. Can you add "pause" before restarting the device? I was installing something else while installing your driver and it just restarted immediately. A small message like "press a button to restart" or a countdown for a minute will be ok i guess. Thank you again for your hard work on this!
