Thank you so much for the answer! I'm testing v6.0.8940.1 FF00 right now and everything's just perfect! Later I'm going to try other versions you suggest. Thanks again!
Hey guys, I have a GA-Z270X-Ultra Gaming and my driver version is 6.0.8975.1, do I need to update it trough the github link ?
So bare with me a little. I got a new mobo (Gigabyte B460M-D3H) and i'm trying to "see" what's going on with it's UAD drivers. From what i have seen (found out) so far: Windows update downloads 3 .cab files one containing the driver (8881.1) and two other with the app/services needed. These also go to device manager under the "Software components" area. The first .cab that is unpaked contains these .inf files: HDX_GigabyteExt_AVO_RTK HDX_GigabyteExt_Creative_RTK HDX_GigabyteExt_DOLBY_RTK HDX_GigabyteExt_RTK HDX_GigabyteExt_XPERI4_RTK. I suspect i only need to run the "plain" Realtek one since i don't think i have any of the other customizations. Then there's the other .cab that includes the app/services. RealtekASIO_5 RealtekHSA_210 RealtekService_236 these three are directories and on the root it's the .inf file for RealtekAPO. The ASIO part is nowhere to be found in the device manager as are the .dlls also, so i suspect this one is NOT installed by default. If i click install on the .inf file i find the copied .dlls on my drive. The last .cab is the driver, pretty straightforward on this no questions about it. After all that and when connected online the control panel get also installed from the Store. Is there a specific order, especially in the first two .cab files i mention or stuff that are needed? When i update the driver should there be an update for the rest? (HSA, APO, Service) e.t.c? Thanks.
