NDIS: Install_Win11_Win10_10079_DMAROFF_11262025.zip still downloads 10078, do you have a mirror for newest version?
nope. try downloading it again several hours later or next day it downloaded 10079 on my end recently report wrong Realtek LAN PCIe driver download problem by email > nicfae at realtek dot com and have them post the correct download on their web site
Motherboard manufacturers do not always maintain latest drivers. I currently have driver version 1125.27.50.920 with date 20/09/2025. Where can I download the latest from?
@kyrcy Look two post above yours (Post #148) and you'll find the link where to download the latest version
I already checked the link, but why the different numbering of versions, what is the difference between NDIS and NetAdapterCx and the Not Support Power Saving?
That's totally up to you. Some prefer the older ndis believing it's more stable as it's existed for a long time and matured. Do you even need "newer" drivers. If it aint broke...
I use NDIS drivers on older OSes like Windows 10. For Windows 11 I always us NetAdapterCx, even OEMs use that variant in the preinstalled drivers of any computer. With that being said, I never had an issue with the default drivers that shipped with my laptop(s) no did I notice any improvement with the newer ones.
I am sticking to the latest motherboard driver available, but does anyone recognize what is this driver version 1125.27.50.920 with date 20/09/2025, as I can't find it on the website above?
check in Device Manager (devmgmt.msc) as to what kind & version of the "Realtek PCIe LAN Family Controller" or similar device is listed in the Network Adapters section (and perhaps check the hardware device ID for it) only modern or newer Realtek LAN adapters {the 2.5Gb variety} use it AND must be running Win11 older LAN adapters still use NDIS (because I use some older boards)
