I have this PC set for, "check for updates but let me choose which to download and install"! There used to be an option, "never ask me about this update again"...and I assume this is another thing MS has removed so they can shove whatever down our throats? Is there a way to stop this grating behavior? This is concerning the Malware Removal Tool that constantly asks to be installed! Thanks!
This option will work for you BUT with the Malware Removal Tool not so much. I've tried to get rid of that myself. Here is what happens if you turn down say March's tool. M$ will then offer Feb's tool. And if you turn down Feb's tool then M$ will offer Jan's tool and so on. They just go back to an earlier month. I don't know how far they will go back, I only went back about 4 months and gave up
