@zb9525 It may be that the vm is trying to start in UEFI mode. One solution is to start in BIOS mode. go to edit virtual machine settings Options/Advanced Firmware Type: select BIOS close settings start VM
@zb9525 It should be possible to start in UEFI mode. Set up vm with UEFI boot right click on the vm tab > Power > Power On to Firmware > enter Boot Manager > EFI VMware Virtual SATA CDROM Drive (1.0) > enter Press any key to boot from CD or DVD...... > enter boot process..... This might depend on the ISO you have. I have an Win 10 ISO created with Media Creation Tool which sometimes works, sometimes doesn't. The ISO created with UUP Dump always works.

I found it, too. 15.5.5 poor ISO compatibility. In addition, CPU usage is very high. I don't think this version is perfect. Looking forward to a new version.

Anybody else having problems installing x86 windows 10 in vmware? I first had the problem on v15 on one system only, and on the other system in v15 all was working but now they both have v16 running and now x86 fails with a bsod on both. EDIT: on the laptop it installs win 10 x86 just fine in vmware, time to have some new installs on my main systems EDIT: all seems to be fixed now after clean installing the system (19042.508 Enterprise).
for the latest vmware player v16.1, is anyone facing a problem that we cannot use three monitors for the virtual machine (2 monitors is ok)?
