[Update] VMware Products

I only wonder when Microsoft finally add support Intel vt-x and Amd-v when VBS is turned on all for Virtualbox work fully compatible and then I haven't to what back to VMware if Virtualbox more stable.

I don't know what give that, if VMware don't let's on download and install tools in windows. Or is fixed and VMware find updates after servers, when is to install VMware tools or find updates?

 

Ok. So if now i put windows 7 on VMware without that tools what was always install, windows update will find then automatically inside virtual machine? Without make to need install?
And what better put pvsci or sata controller then in VMware?
And how look topic about XP/Vista then?

 

On windows 7 came only broadcom system. But tools I needed download from inernet, because vmware still don't lets update.

And frustrating fact. On my I5 13600KF don't work virtualize vcpu counters performance in vmware. Still come error. With turn on or off vbs. Nevermind how was, only that option don't work. Vt-x still only on turned off vbs work. Virtualize IOMMU with turn on or turn off work.

 

In version 17.6.3 they removed:

The following features are no longer part of VMware Workstation Pro.
– Unity Mode.
– Enhanced Virtual Keyboard.
– Bluetooth hub pass-through.
– Physical host parallel ports.

So, which is the last full (uncrippled) version to stick with?

I think it is general old things. VMWare support usb. You don't need to much PS/2 or I don't know old.

Is too putted out virtual printers. General now can find physical printer after network and add to virtual machines.

What doesn't resolve problems with VMWare and updates components. Any updates and you need some account broadcom. I tried make that on Polish regional and it doesn't work to me. So it is make only for kill that products by broadcom.

Still any informations when they fix problems download updates/tools by vmware to without be errors?

General I don't know where. But I thought someone maybe know if it fixed finally. It started in March that problems.

 

no problems to fix as they want everyone using their products to login to broadcom portal to download any updates/upgrades; only third party forums posting on torrents/direct download cloud sites going forward most likely

 

It sad how is RIP good product by not normal Broadcom. But

 

It's sad what Broadcom has done with VMware... But we have other alternatives: VirtualBox, Hyper-V (Windows), QEMU (Linux)... Although is true, nothing like VMware
