Good, Virtualbox work. I think time put away VMware. Maybe sad, because with vbs in Windows 11 don't work good older systems but Windows 7 up should work. If Microsoft resolve problems and put finally let's on nested vt-x when vbs active, then virtualbox will work with all. I hope I will see that day. Then can tell by to Broadcom. Or Broadcom will make something about that bsods with vbs and to let's automatically update software and components like true VMware made, then maybe will possible let's give chance again that software.
I see some nasty bugs in VMWS 17.6.4: - slower run - when VM (OS - Windows 11) starts or I switch from another VM sometimes screen remains black
If I only find way to know reasons why Vista when take updates server 2008 ESU go in black screen on Virtualbox when VBS active and how fix that, then can tell bye problematic VMWARE. Is to much problems with that software + Broadcom destroyed good application.
Have some problems with Win7 (and probably Vista too) under VB lately. There seems to be a problem with a multi-core Guest and Default Paravirtualization, leading to BSOD or stalls. Setting Paravirtualization to Legacy cures this. Maybe works for you too.
I don't know. Is too moment, when after first upates Windows 7 put window with error ipxe ROM, when is boot from network totally turned off. But after Turn off and after turn on machine, that bug don'tcome again. And it is that, Microsoft promote vbs and all software have problems. And any informations if Microsoft will to fix that all finally. xD
Have you some informations about VMWare 18? Much is hear about that, it is somewhere on broadcom but still need account. No one shared globally still.
